What made nintendies have such a cult like view of nintendo that they justify these prices? Years ago when I was taking care of my Grandma while she had cancer I broke my copy of twilight princess and bought a replacement cd off of Ebay for only 13 bucks, what the fuck happened?

GameCube did not sell very well and TP was one of the last games released for it, then again Wind Waker is pretty expensive too. I will say though Halo and Jak are western games which tend to be cheaper across the board. Japanese GCN games are probably cheaper just like Super Famicom and N64

Covid drove everyone crazy and Gamecube happens to be the generation that 20-somethings are nostalgic for. That combined with actual collusion and price fixing going on in the collector's market has inflated prices to a point that it's going to take a while for them to come down again.
