i've never heard anyone say that and the next line he speaks relates directly to that statement. it's clearly Mido. on the subject though, there are a few places where Link might arguably be talking, like when you take the message out of the bottle in lake hylia and it goes, "Huh, what's this?". it's not Navi because the text is white snd she usually speaks in blue text when not directly spoken to by Link first

i first encountered it in a youtube video about the times link spoke and the person doing the commentary made no real effort to refute it even though it's obviously bullshit and not open to interpretation

I always read white text as Link's inner thoughts and figured it was generally agreed upon that green text was for Link's spoken lines, for instance when you have to pick a dialog option or when he tells Zelda his name.

Funny, I realize it makes no sense but I always read those as sort of 'narrator' lines. Similar to how you get an item and rather than it being "I got x" akin to how Link might be thinking it to himself, it says "You got x" given the extra text like mentioning the Bomb Bag is made out of a Dodongo Stomach that Link probably wouldn't be thinking to himself either as he wouldn't know.
