You are given the opportunity to spend $5,000 US dollars in order to either (1) Rediscover a previously complete but never released video/computer game and release it for free to the public or (2) Complete a mostly finished (and also unreleased) video/computer game in the exact vision of the developers and release it for free to the public.

Honest question, what the hell can 5k fix in todays world? It seems like you almost have to pick the discover something unreleased option, and pay some discord autist 2 bucks an hour to scour unlabeled archive posts or something.

Anyways, I always wanted to see fallout van buren, and still do, although I have no hope for anything of the sort with pic related being the absolute state of things today. Itd be cool to find some demos besides the tech demo that was posted on NMA

immediate first thought was to get Dragon Hopper for Virtual Boy released. Alternatively, thought it would be interesting to see what would have happened if sonic 06 had come out as intended.

Dragon Hopper seems more likely though, so maybe something that was never really completed, like Virtual Mario Land, or the F-Zero/Star Fox games.

Was Resident Evil 1.5 mostly finished? Because I guess I'd consider doing that. Spending money on it then releasing it completely for free would be silly though. I could charge a couple of bucks for it and make money to spend on releasing more games
