The artist has literally drawn Duke comic books before. It's hardly their fault they commissioned an actual artist to make actual art and the dude delivered AI shit to them. They even posted concept art and rough drafts of this piece in their defence which may or may not also have been AI generated.

I am of the belief they didn't know and some lazy actual genuine artist was using AI to produce commissions faster.

Because the artwork is ripe with AI-art telltale signs like the complete garbage that is the gun in his left hand that goes behind his arm, the trigger finger that clips into the non-existing trigger along with the AI-hieroglyphs on the magazine on the right one, the pants that suddenly become metal halfway down his thigh (which definitely isn't the result of him having balls of steel) and all the little details that make no sense or feel completely randomly placed like whatever the fuck is going on on his chest-belts.

I have one. Two, really. I got an EXP for the tate mode and that's a nifty little feature, the build quality is also quite a bit nicer than the original handheld too.

Evercade is doing three things that I really like: physical copies of arcade games that have never gotten any kind of home version, compilations of homebrew and indie titles, and then English releases of games which have never been localized. I've been pretty happy overall with it.
