i've been trying to burn MvC2 on a cd so i can play the game on my PS2 (modded) but it doesn;t FUCKING WOOOOOOOOOORK. someone help me

Are you using a DVD-R with FreeDVDBoot and ImgBurn? I know nothing about this but I know PS2 uses DVD's and not regular CD's. Also if you have a Dreamcast, CDI/GDI are easier to burn if you want to play that version instead. Worst case scenario you can always just emulate for either system... Also I didn't realize this game doesn't have a modern release

FreeMcBoot is another alternative, maybe better as it doesn't require a disc... Sorry I can't be of more help OP

You have to convert it to a DVD, if you're on linux you can do the following for this:

$ bchunk gamefile.bin gamefile.cue gamefile
$ mount gamefile.iso /mnt/
$ mkisofs -udf /mnt/ >gamefile2.iso
$ esrpatch gamefile2.iso

And for esrpatch you can get it here:

And for burning I like to use growisofs
