I find that odd, since those lines were never voiced. Or did you mean the music that accompanied it? Because yeah, I heard it too. Immediately followed by the actual narrative part:

>JUNE SIXTH, NINETEEN NINETY-SIX
>A MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSION DESTROYS
>THE CHERNOTON RESEARCH FACILITY
>NEAR MOSCOW...
>LUCIFER-ALPHA, A POWERFUL BIOLOGICAL WEAPON UNDER SECRET DEVELOPMENT THERE, IS RELEASED INTO THE ATMOSPHERE, CREATING A DEADLY BIOHAZARD.

>> No.9937553

Unfortunately, lightgun mode in Snatcher is ass. It still uses the 3x3 grid, so it feels extremely unnatural, and you'll find your shots constantly going in the wrong box.
Policenauts, on the other hand, works great with a lightgun because you can aim anywhere.

>> No.9937569

You can run the patched English translation for PS1 on a modded console. Plus a light gun and it's still cheaper than buying a Saturn.

>> No.9945006

>>9944252
There's no decensor patch as far as I'm aware. Apparently entering "Konami" in the name search of a certain computer (you'll know it when you see it) changes some scenes to be like the JP version but they are apparently minor and a lot of the censorship is still there.
