The Playstation Controller. I feel that the analog sticks on the DS and DS2 are awkwardly placed. The vast majority of PS1 games also control perfectly fine with the D-Pad due to being explicitly designed for it. I also happen to only really care about the PS1's library.

Dualshock has better buttons. The analog buttons on a DS2 are much less reliable in my experience.
