Joust 2 apparently. I felt it was a straight upgrade from the first game with more challenge and more depth. Everytime I bring it up online people act like it's some horrible sequel that ruined the gameplay because they actually need to think about what to do next instead of just flying really fast across the screen.

The reason is the credit feeder design.
In the original Joust you have to restart the game with each credit but in Joust 2 you can keep playing and keep all your points so with enough money every shitter can end up at the top of the high score list.

Blood Omen 2 is most hated Legacy of Kain game but I don't think it's that bad. It's very different from the rest of the series but still an enjoyable game. I really like the gameplay and overall design of the game. I will admit that most of my enjoyment is nostalgia.

This right here. My parents gave me $40 to spend on video games for the summer and I bought FFVII for $30 and this for $10. I spent a month beating FFVII and then had the next month trying to beat this godforsaken game. The physics were whack and the controls were horrible if I remember but I managed to get all gold medals save for one and a stupid annoying level with bullshit trap placement.

I'm not sure if it's an actual bad game, but I really like Thrill Kill.
