I don't remember the exact name but the second most fun I've ever had at an arcade machine was the early 2000s two player sitdown cab of Space Harrier/Planet Harrier, am not sure whixh but it was like Dreamcast esque graphics and fun as shit.

Somehow I had never came across this game when I was a lad at the arcades, so my very first interaction with it was circa 2003, when a friend of mine installed MAME on my PC, and this was the first game we played. It blew my mind, so colorful, that music, the addictive ludo gameplay. It made me feel nostalgia for a game I never played before.
It's still one of my favorite games, I actually bought a japanese copy of the physical release of the Sega 3D Classics with the 3D port of it by M2 and couldn't be happier with it. Only thing that would make me happier is an actual arcade cab.

I imported a Saturn last year, and the guy I bought it from threw in a pristine copy of the Sega Ages port of Space Harrier and a 3D controller. I'd played the game plenty of times up to that point, but playing it that way really does add something for me. I can tell how proud they were to have brought the game home without any serious compromises.

All of those ports that M2 did were so good. Super Hang-On and Outrun are also just a blast to play in 3D, even with motion controls.
