Remember when everyone called this game gay because it didn't have black people shooting? This is what PS2 did to the industry

I remember people hating it BECAUSE of the cute graphics and also the fact that it wasn't just OOT redux. I think op might just be retarded or maybe my powerlevel was low but WW came out in 2002 on a nintendo console which everyone still associated with being kid shit. I don't remember any or atleast too many triple A games from the time were you played as a black person outside of San Andreas but that came out 2 years after WW and also on a much more widely loved platform while also being released during a time were there was a bit of a moral panic from boomers about the violence in video games giving SA a cool edge to it. Zoomers really should have to post their IDs before posting here.

Never happened. What happened was that Nintendo showed the infamous Link vs Ganondorf trailer at Spaceworld 2000 and all the neckbeards (and probably the G4 dudebro crowd) got their panties in a twist when the game ended up looking like a cartoon in the end.
