hay vr i was wondering if you might know games that is peaceful. i'm so sick of all the conflict and hate going on everywhere, i can't handle this nonstop violence.

i try to distract myself from this dystopian horror existence by playing video games but even video games are largely just conflict.

here are all the ones i can come up with:

city builders i already overate: sim city snes, sim city 3000, sim city 4, cities skyline, the tower sp, rollercoaster tycoon.

i very much liked harvest moon but now that there is stardew valley i can't play harvest moon anymore and that has fighting in the cave going on.

lol mario paint comes to mind but the motherfuckers couldn't stop themselves from including this insect swatter minigame.

economic simulators i very much liked: airline tycoon and pizza tycoon (aka pizza connection) but i am already too tired of playing them plus monetary economies are very much guilty in how everpresent violence is in this world, so there is an indirect violence visible to those who can think far enough in an interconnected way.

theme hospital qualifies if you believe doctors are good people and depending on where you are in the world they are part of the interconnected web of violence enablers. besides i have played it too much already.

the most peaceful game i can come up with is art academy, which is a painting game for modern nintendo handheld but i'd much rather play something older.

if i think of more i'll post them.

oh cmon what were they gonna do, paint the entire original pokemon anime with the pokemon constantly resisting and hating their life as if they were wage slave price fighters? no the motherfuckers had to pretend pokemon are just retarded obedient soldier-type animals without consciousness who do everything humans ask of them without ever questioning it even if it means hurting themselves or their fellow species.

trainer: "ay charmander burn this little rat, it's owner looked at me funny"
charmander: "oh yeah sure, nothing suspicious with that order, i'll just hurt this little creature so my owner can prove how tough he is to the other owner without hurting himself"

they made pikachu refuse to get into the pokeball just to give the illusion that all this is voluntary and not just some enslavement of nature horrorshow.

i do love the pokemon music but i can't unsee the implied horror of the long term consequences of being immersed in the underlying psychology of pokemon battle (war) and capturing pokemon (enslavement). the military industrial complex has probably recruited quite a lot of "talent" at pokemon tournaments.

lol that does look pretty dank, though i'd have a hard time forgetting the amount pain that is necessary to inflict on a population to have a society this orderly in violence based social systems. people don't just wake up and decide to live in this symmetric and rubbish-free world, they have to be bullied and tricked. if you know nothing about this world then this looks nice but if you know the undisclosed darkness underlying involuntary human organizational systems then you can't unsee it...

i've seen what happens to people who chose denial. i've heard all the arguments. so far i have never envied one of them while they are fascinated by the advantages authenticity provide. i've never envied a traitor no matter how expensive his kitchenware is.

the direction of envy signals to me that i am on the right path. "it has always been that way and it is always gonna be that way" is not an argument that can withstand scrutiny. that's good enough when you drink coca cola and drink coffee and eat burger. there is the possibility of a better life though and denial is not the way you get there.

here is how you sound to me packaged into a retro gaming metaphor:

you play mario bros 1 on the nes without having discovered that there is a jump button and now you talk shit about what a dank game it is, meanwhile all you are able to do is walk up half a screen to the fist goomba and let it kill you and that's not boring to you at all, it is all you know. there is conflict with the goomba, the goomba wins every time and that is satisfactory to you because conflict has happened and it is the essence of life.

mostly not because they are competition and competition is how they fuck the the degenerate masses and whip them into shape so they can be slaves to the system that trains them to act in their own worst interest and become violent obedient bullies, destined to become what they hate. after having spend decades in lower and higher education both as a student and as a tutor all i am feeling when i consider that they prioritize competition over cooperation is disgust and bewilderment.

i do however include driving games. there is a modern gem called Jalopy. now THAT'S peaceful!

it's just you (and if you want your uncle) in a car that you have to maintain while traveling from country to country over procedurally generated maps. the more you drive the car the more the components deteriorate and you have to repair or replace them. highly recommend. clean fun for all hikkis.

Maybe it's time to become an adult and face the world. Conflict is part of the human condition, and unfortunately violence is part of it too. It's better to accept the world as it is, then getting stuck in some teenage angsty phase which basically boils down to "I'm better than everyone but woe is me because nobody understands me." Trust me, I've been there. You'll look back at this in 10 years and cringe hard.

Im pretty sure thats how many of the games (and stories, and paintings) you like came into being. OP I gotta tell you, you seem kind of off, and I don't mean just because of the topic, which is actually sort of interesting.
Golf Daisuki!: O.B. Club is a colorful minigolf type game with on SNES fun locations, sometimes compared to the kirby minigolf game, but which has no hint of violence or serious competition that I can recall. A translation is available.
Pressure cooker is a 2600 game where you make sandwiches. Warning: contains depictions of foods commonly but not necessarily made from animals.
MLP: The Runaway Rainbow is a notretro GBA game which has you search for items and play minigames in order to advance the story, which at most deals with finding yourself lost in a foreign place, races against deadlines, and facing responsibility. I struggle to think of a game with a more peaceful uncompetitive story that could actually be considered a story with stakes.
Consider also trying out pinball machine sims, with tables that don't involve alien attacks, medieval warfare, fighting, etc. Much of what a pinball actually does on a table is open to interpretation of course, and it's true that sometimes people or other creatures are used as targets to bonk.
