Every other morning I beat this game on the hardest difficulty before I drive to work. Nice way to fully wake up.
Really, really love the genre. Anyone else in the same boat?

Also, Retro Puzzle Games General!

I absolutely love Tetris Attack.
Still my favourite SNES game. Of all. Just judging from the time I have played this, it beats all others by far...

As much as I love the VS mode, I personally mostly choose the Clear-Mode, dat Bowser- level...

Tetris Attack is my absolute favorite puzzle game, but I don't really have much time to practice with it as much as I'd like. I'm mostly okay, I would just need to build up speed at this point.

It would be nice if the computers were more difficult
That is my only complaint about the game, and why I kinda prefer Pokemon Puzzle League. Otherwise, this game makes me happy.

Try doing Endless mode for 10 minutes on hard difficulty and try getting the most points you can get. More fun than taking out the computers. Sucks they stall so much, makes it easy as fuck.

Panel de Pon is my favorite puzzle franchise by far. I dare say it's a requirement that everyone who likes Tetris Attack or Pokemon Puzzle League to own Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the 4-player modes.

I like that Panel de Pon is pretty easy to get into, and doesn't require you to git gud like Puyo Puyo does.

That's on Gamecube, right? If I ever get a Wii for cheap, I'll pick it up.

Not retro, but my favorite version of Panel de Pon is Planet Puzzle League.

>tfw you can't beat any of the puzzle mode stages beyond the first few

I don't know why, but my brain just doesn't work that way and every time I just turn the game off feeling retarded

single-player is boring, and no-one wants to play with me..

Most of the puzzle games I've encountered have at least some form of netplay community, even the really obscure ones.

There are also plenty of people like me who would play with anyone online, but get disconnected on because we don't know how to be good at puzzle games.

>>972727
This one is awesome, but anybody who plays it consistently on Supercade will body you.

I have Puzzle league, but I always got fucking destroyed whenever I played it.

I made it till the Blargg puzzle where nearly half of the screen is filled with blocks, that's where my logic stoipped working and I had to long for guides. Still haven't understood what exactly I'm doing when following the instructions...

Maybe he needs a fuckton of donor carts because he wants to construct some kind of frankenstein abomination of a cart.
Or the seller refused to sell it separately.

After a day or two I can pretty much master any puzzle game. I think my brain is just real suitable for learning puzzlers for some reason. By master I mean setting up long ass combos during online play easily, not beat a TAS score or anything like that. I not bragging as I am pretty sure someone can easily beat my ass on any puzzle game that they happen to be good at. I just simply a fast learner I guess.

Wario's Woods while playing Animal Crossing was my NES game of choice while waiting for events. I was also able to beat anyone on Magical Drop 3 when I used to have GameTap (it like a collection of emulators with a subscription fee to legally download games and use their netplay & chat system).

I am amazing when it come to how fast I can learn the flow of puzzle games. Sadly I personally don't care much for them even though I seem to have great potential for them. Some of my friends kinda hate me for that. Honestly the only puzzle I actually enjoy was those picture tile sliding puzzles for some reason. I just like how quickly they can be done if you know how to do them.

I have this treasure from my childhood. I wrote down all these codes as I got them for the Game Boy version that I owned as a kid.

As you can see, I played it a lot.

It's a bit embarrassing sharing something like this

I also wasn't very good, but I liked it a lot.

Correction, little boy.

I bought games I have never played. Pretty sure I'll keep Griffey, Andretti and NBA Courtside. The rest can be used as donors or tossed in on trades.

Sorry you have to project your shriveled lump in to this dickwaving contest, boy.

That guy's an idiot, but you're only making yourself sound worse with all this "boy" stuff. It's cringe-inducing, man. Just stop and let it slide. There's no getting away from trolls no matter what you do. Best to ignore them.
