Best soundtrack is Resurrection though.

And my dream for Medievil 3 would be upping the stakes from timetravel to alternate timelines. Also get rid of that genie that were originally having before putting him on PSP.

2 is ok but it was made by a team who just didn't get the spirit of 1, and sweet jesus it shows.
And who makes the 100% completion ending a bad end? Complete nonsense.

The soundtrack to the Remake was one of the only things it got right.

The first game was lightning in a bottle and theres a reason that none of the sequels or anything else made by SCE Studio Cambridge was really any good. It's one of my favourite PS1 games and that's really saying something, but unfortunately I really hated MediEvil 2 when it came out and still do.

The PS4 remake could have been alright but holy fuck they ruined the combat and made it extremely tedious. Enemies just run through Dan's sword and the hammer/club weapons take too long to swing. It's a very frustrating game as a result and it doesn't help that shields do fuck all too. One of those cases where, much like the N Sane Trilogy, it gives people false memories about how hard the original game was.

>Absurd price to replenish the Golden Armor even if save all the money you find throughout the game for the final level

>Annoying octopus enemies that are hard to hit even with the hammer
>Unkillable enemies
>Fall damage mechanics (for a fucking undead skeleton wearing a suit of armor)
>Getting all the chalices results in the player getting the bad ending
It's an okay game but vastly inferior to the first one.
