The first game had better music.

Nope, it had 1 or 2 amazing tracks but the rest was average. 64 has consistently good music with its own charm

64 music was basically just zelda 64 music

zelda 64 has good music

I'd prefer it if starfox sounded like starfox rather than zelda

Based and true. 64 has good music, but 1 and 2 are better because they're much crazier and weirder. 64 went down a kinda generic path, still good though. Even Adventures and Assault still had good music (Adventures is better because it went back to being weird, Assault stuck to generic).

That's because they use the same soundfont.

I was going to say that's not true, but honestly I can't think of any memorable music from SF64 while multiple SF1 tracks come to mind immediately.

>literally the most generic anime music ever
Further proof that this game is overrated and its fans are insecure losers.

64 has good music, it just isn't particularly memorable outside of a few tracks. It's mostly just atmospheric.

>> No.9706417

100%. The composer may have stayed on for the rest of the games if he understood that Nintendo owned all his music, which is why he didn't return because he wanted strict ownership.

I've fully massacred SF64 several times but the first one still filters the hell out of me hard. How did you guys do it? I'd rather not have to watch videos of the game unless I have to.

I play SF1 with savestates and more recently rewind. Bad performance and bad depth communication plague the game and it's pretty much impossible to play it straight.

Everything about the first level of this game was amazing and the music of the first level sounded like it could have been in a Hollywood movie. How did everything after suck a monkey turd
