so today i went to goodwill for the first time ever and i was expecting to find a shit load of NES and PS1 games like all of the videos on youtube but i went there only to find the store filled with 90% clothes, 2% electronics, 3% of the same fucking pc game on sports, and the rest VHS cassettes and books
what the fuck happened? how do i find NES and PS1 games without going to some store in a mall and paying $20 for each game?

It's mainly luck as to whether or not you find anything. I checked out a Goodwill yesterday I rarely go to and found 4 original Xbox games, 3 PS2 games and 1 PS1 game, all forgettable titles. Inventory rotates around constantly, so go every few months until you find something. So far I've found something like 8 NES games, 2 Atari games, 2 Genesis games and like 10 retro PC vidya gams over the course of about 18 months. What Goodwill is is a random grab bag, truly. Not great but shit is cheap.
