id say it ended after the second game. the first two games are great and blow mgs out of the water in the gameplay department. mgs is a conference call simulator with about 1 hour of total gameplay

MSG2. MGS1 gameplay is just there, mostly. The fun parts are where it where it interrupts regular gameplay with a scripted sequence.

Just wanted to come in here and say Vulcan Raven is the best boss fight in the game, and might be the best in the series. (Only other contender I can think of is the End.)

It's a free-roaming overhead game where you collect items and keys to access new areas in order to proceed through the game, while occasionally fighting bosses. That's pretty Zelda-like to me.
