depending on what marker they used it may have absorbed into the plastic slightly, making it still faintly visible after rubbing alcohol
some people use magic eraser (melamine sponge) to remove the rest but it will also remove some of the stipple from the plastic surface. once you know what it looks like it's easy to spot
