I didn't even know this was considered bad until I looked at reviews after I played a lot of it

Capeshit adaptations are always a nice time capsule; like how the final boss of MvC is Onslaught of all characters because he was the relevant thing right then.

Is this where you can play as Professor X without powers and his only attack is headbutts?

I mean, he was pretty OP. Magneto's mind with Xavier's and Franklin Richards (a baby celestial)'s powers.

Not bad.

No. That's the prequel, Mutant Academy 2, that also had Spider-Man.

I unironically believe that kreate a fatality was a good idea and should have stayed in the series. It gets boring seeing the same two fatalities over and over again.

Midway making a 3D "everyone's here" game but NO Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat was a crime. Motor Kombat didn't even have a proper size roster. Huge dropped ball.

It's actually pretty good, too bad all the americunts that knew Classicvania seethe and malded over the Death Note artist doing this game.
Meanwhile, Simpsons fans didn't bitch about that Death Note crossover Zombie Simpsons did recently. Different times

>Super literal input system where a misinput requires you to stop all inputs
>Devs hated the idea of juggling beyond 1-3 hits so those are almost completely impossible in most circumstances
>Otherwise requires very specific timing for some moves to chain into one another
>Some standing strings can be blocked mid-string even if the first hit lands
>AI will appear to drop a string sometimes, and then continue it anyway, sometimes getting an extra hit out of it
>That is when it isn't pulling moves out of it's ass altogether, like moves you're given no idea how to even perform
>Attacks are flagged as 'H', 'M', 'L', 'A', 'G', 'O', and 'X'.
>Practice Mode has an input display that sometimes doesn't display the full string of inputs you've done, and sometimes has symbols that have no explanation whatsoever drop in
>Rarely seen is '!' being thrown after inputs, apparently reflects the system disallowing a move or something
>More often to see is 'K' which seems to be some kind of universal autocancel as you can trigger it even during intended strings and they'll just drop instantly
>Hit detection isn't so much tied to hitboxes so much as it is "is this part of the attacker this close to the target" logic
>If true then it sets a few addresses in RAM that basically force the opponent into a state of taking a hit
>If these addresses are frozen, the AI will sometimes ignore them altogether and attack you anyway.

>Somehow this is the only Star Wars vidya that has remained partially canon in that Teras Kasi got a namedrop in Solo

Agree, I get why some people don't like it, but stacking your own fatalities is way more fun than watching the same cutscenes over and over, the only option they needed to make it perfect was a projectile option, being able to throw out a fire or ice or energy blast, etc, that would give the kills more personality
