I am going to be getting an SNES this weekend.

I'm planning on getting: Donkey Kong Country, Super Castlevania 4, Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy III, Contra Alien Wars, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Super Metroid, Chrono trigger, Turtles in Time, and Earthworm Jim.

What great SNES games should be added to my list? Money is no object.

I've never liked sidescroller Mario games.

You should really only replace it with another fast blowing type of fuse if you want the SNES to be protected. Most glass fuses are designed to blow after a couple of seconds thus the SNES can get fried in that window.

I got mortal kombat 2 Top gear 2, And Ms Pacman Around $ 9 Dollars.
Two weeks ago I got a n64 with 3 games Nascar 2000 Cruisin `s Use and Conker` s Bad Fur Day at $ 15 Dollars.

Back at the time I bought on ebay many games and movies 2004 and 2005 were great years, a salesman Canadian each week had lots of games ps1 between 30 and 50 games and guess what the final price was sensational about $ 30 and $ 45 bucks, and games were of different genres I buy 6 lots.

remember that the best salespeople in those years were New Yorkers. a game of ps2 what they sold for $ 4 dollars.
and ps1 games for $ 3 dollar, and obviously the shipping is included in both.
For example i got twisted metal 4 for $ 3 dollars.

The ebay last year was good was in 2010 after that everything is overvalued.

If money doesn't bother you, The Ninja Warriors is a great, stylish beat-em-up by Taito/Natsume - it's usually in the $40 range, last I checked.

Pocky and Rocky is another fun Taito/Natsume game.

Sunset Riders is a fantastic Konami run-n-gun with two-player support.

Cybernator is also a great mech-combat sidescroller from Konami, though the *best* version of the game is the uncensored Japanese release, Assault Suits Valken. It's still fun though (and very difficult). It's fairly cheap ($20ish).

Basically these are more under-the-radar games that can flesh out the SNES library along with the obvious greats.

You're comparing brand new, factory sealed games to loose carts. Of course the loose cart are going to be much cheaper. But nowadays, if you want factory sealed SNES games, you will pay several times that price. Not only that, but most CIB SNES games that are worth playing are going for $100+ each. So you're wrong, they haven't gotten any cheaper. Quite the opposite, actually.

Super Everdrive Deluxe edition is pretty darn good, just slower and wont play a few of the oddly chipped game (MegaMan X2&X3, Kirby's DreamLand 3...things like that)

If you want to play a lot of games without much issue then I'd say get an sd2snes or if you have less of a budget super everdrive.

Don't really bother with the ufo, it's not very good. Unless that price is all you can spare.

I will say 1 good thing about it, from what I've tested the "pass-through" abilities where you can play special chip games with a cart that has said chips doesn't seem to work for super fx but I did get megaman x2 and x3 working with my rockman x2 cart. So, cheap way to play megaman x2 and x3 without emulating.

iirc it also doesn't support the largest roms out there, so you can't play everything. And games like EarthBound and Mario rpg still trip the AP in them.

If you can find some way to run translated or hacked roms, I highly recommend Front Mission, The Legend of Zelda: Parallel Worlds, and Final Fantasy V.

Also, grab a copy of Doom and get someone to make it into a StarFox 2 repro, since it's an amazing unreleased game.
