Favorite/most tolerable game? Genesis version counts.

were there any other nes compilations like this? i remember a friend had something similar (it definitely wasnt the action 52). i wanna see it was like 100 or 101 games or something...im pretty sure it was on the nes...i think the cartridge mightve been black, and i remember like a small fabric ribbon (white?) that hanged out of the cartridge or something. we never actually got it to work, but often tried the whole routine of blowing on it and whatnot.

I'm in love with that stupid fucking ribbon, holy shit what a strange touch. it makes it look oddly high class, between that and the blurb on the back calling it a "sophisticated apparatus." truly we live in a dystopian alternate timeline where all games after this release didn't end up accessorizing themselves with a silly little ribbon.

>>9531926
I think the ribbon is part of the converter, it's so you can get it out if you put it in the frontloader

Very hard to pinpoint a tolerable one, at least the cheetahmen are fuckable;
Bet this whole shit would work way better if they shipped the cartridges with a ribbon like the one above.

Dam Busters is legitimately not terrible. A pretty decent (if very simple) top-down shooter with some great music.

the genesis version came with some puzzle game where you control an automatically bouncing ball, i remember that being the only tolerable part of the package

Source? The manual says nothing like that.

>> No.9535047

You could take whatever manual you can find, be it for another NES game, your alarm clock or a Lego set, and it probably does a better job at describing A52's games than the one that came with that cart.

I remember seeing a rom for something similar for the Sega Master System, not a multicart but a compilation of crappy minigames
