This shit doesn't even work with Big the Cat's story in Sonic Adventure. Seriously, they add a weird character focused around fishing in a platformer game, and also make a fishing pole controller available at launch for their brand new console, but they don't bother having the two work with each other.

What were they thinking?

Your sarcasm detector doesn't work because the post isn't sarcarm yet. It's like a plant that hasn't fully grown yet. We have to wait for for the response post to determine what anon means. He left it intentionally vague.

The post is designed to be flexible. Anon will watch the responses he gets then, depending on what is said, say he was being sarcastic. Or say he was being serious and that he genuinely doesn't know what hapoened to bizarre controllers.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but it truly did. These camera based games that work off of the player's body movement paved the way for VR. Without the eyetoy and whatever the gameboy camera was, we wouldn't have had the Wii.
https://yewtu.be/watch?v=LC_KKxAuLQw
The Wii was gimmicky, but in 2010, this guy used the wii sensor bar, put it on his head and flipped it around to make this tech demo. I remember my jaw hitting the floor when I first saw it. That's when I knew that true VR games were going to be a reality. Today, I'm a simdad with a VR cockpit and games like iRacing and Il-2 are amazing. As the tech becomes cheaper and more readily available to the average consumer, VR gaming is going to explode.
