personally i think these rules make no sense as no 2007 PS2 game has 2001 minimum specs on PC so PC only games basically just don't count because no one made a shitty Xbox port. makes no sense

just let crysis be retro. for all its worth, it's lizerally designed around single cores and melts multis, doesn't get more retro

I really think Hit the Road is one of the worst LucasArts adventures they made, the team did a way better work with the Telltale ones

I do think Hit The Road is pretty fun but I completely agree, the three seasons of Telltale games are much stronger overall. Better puzzles, music, great handle on the characters, plots that actually go places. That said you should avoid the sanitized 'remastered' versions like the plague.

I like the remasters, they look fucking good and have nice qol improvements. I understand if you don't want to play them because of Bosco's actor change though. At least that won't be a problem in season 3 since he never appeared there

The QOL improvements seem sensible, I do prefer Bosco's original voice for sure but it's all the subtly altered and cleaned up dialogue that irks me. Considering it's only a fraction of the original team working on it, it feels like a slap in the face of their hard work having some always online retard 'clean up' a bunch of shit that was never offensive. I'm sure modded hybrid versions will exist in the end though, it'll be a minor footnote.

I agree if you're comparing seasons 1 and 2 to the original, but season 3 is about as good or even better.
