Not dissing ep2 because of the setting, but the garbage "sentry drone behind every corner" enemy placement, tons of enforcers and total lack of pig cops (a soulful and honest hitscan enemy)
never really played Nuclear Winter that much but the irony of Duke Nukem making fun of other games in "the land of forgotten toys" is priceless

Unlikely to get a response but did anyone ever get the title screen for Vacation to appear properly in eduke32? Yes, I'm THAT autistic. The original megaton collection from GoG has it but it must be some embedded .con file or something because it doesn't work (for me). Nuclear Winter changes the title screen no problem. Might just install it on DosBox but it's not the same.

lol, basically, the first two levels are the only ones which I think are decent, because they retooled original levels which were made by professionals to begin with. A novelty Christmas expansion for Duke isn't a bad idea in the slightest, the novelty Caribbean vacation expansion kicked fucking ass, but Nuclear Winter just isn't anywhere near the same caliber as Caribbean, D.C, or even Plutonium PAK or the original game.

Yes. It's not flawless, but the levels are either decent or VERY good. Being that Gearbox is now owned by Embracer, you now have double the motivation to not pay money for it, as to not support Randy Pitchford and now Tim Willits.
I haven't tried using it in EDuke32, but I think it should work, or that there should exist a patch to make it fully work.
