I was curious about that, if DuckStation enhancements could fix it.
But sadly the game's speed appears to be directly tied to console performance, so an overclock just fucks with the time scale.

I loved the game, every time you win a race you get to win a part of an adversary car. Once you've beaten all the races, you start a new loop which is a bit harder, up until the 4th loop iirc which is the hardest.

Then each character has his own specifics. As I said I recommend Quick Man because of his innate turbo, which can be combined with another turbo you'll earn later on.

The western version was ripped of content, pre-race presentations and stuff like that because they couldn't be arsed to translate it. So I played the Japanese version and made my own translations from image files of menus and all vehicule parts.

I think I actually got to Wily on that fourth loop. Which is fucking bullshit I don't understand how you're supposes to beat, the rubberbanding gives him so much extra speed the only times you ever see him is during the starting countdown and when he laps you.
