Anyone remembers this game on the Gameboy Color? Basically it's a basic zeldaesque game but instead of items you switch between characters, so on characters jumps, other shoots, one kicks, one swims, one runs, etc...
It also had a bit of a Pokemon vibe since not only do you play with a huge cast in the post game you have to trade use the link cable to trade with the companion 2nd version/sequel to unlock characters so can unlock bonus missions and get the true ending.

It's also nice to have a fuckhuge 16x16 map that wasnt made for the original gameboy like pokemon and links awakening. I cant even upload the whole thing without shrinking because of how many colors it has the filesize would be too big

I did play them! At the time I didn't have two gameboys to be able to trade and do the post game so a long time ago I replayed both games on an emulator and set it up like that.
My favorite part is when you're on the boat and there's a storm and you must play as Tweety running away from Sylvester

Do people really get Gameboy roms individually though? Why not just download the entire library? It's really not that much space

Gotta curate my tastes so that I can stay focused. I have 7TB in storage. Just downloading everything at once is a way to get me to focus on nothing.

I like that part too! Most memorable to me is mot the martian baby stealth mission inside the house.

On that note it's kind of annoying how you're unable to use certain characters outside of their specific mission. Even if they would be useless in other areas I would still like the option to play as them.
