That's the correct ranking though. YoTD is just a more polished elaboration of what 2 was offering. Unless you're blinded by nostalgia or got filtered by the partner segments 3 is objectively superior to 2. 1 is an entirely different style of gameplay and is superior to both unless you got filtered by the difficulty.

Also, that dragon isn't Spyro, he's just another adult dragon who happens to be purple.

I like Crash 2 more than 1 because the secret areas and coloured gems are handled a lot better. I still like 3 but holy fuck the swimming and plane levels make me want to die. Don't mind the bike or jet ski levels though.

Just about finished up with 2. It’s weird because I feel like I like them both equally for different reasons, something about 1’s atmosphere felt more “dreamy” though, and I liked how it felt more focused too, where as 2 I love how densely packed the worlds are and how each had a little story going on with it.

Also, both versions of Elora are perfect and I don't want to exaggerate, but I’d die for her. I pray every day she never gets the Tawna treatment.

Everyone always talks about TROUBLE WITH THE TROLLEY, but I'd rather have one of those in each level than do the stupid shit with the seeds even once. All of the buddy activities are so dull. The only one I even remotely enjoy is the railshooter parts. The penguin is fun to control, but I don't like his levels.

I also just realized how similar Spyro and Ratchet are in that the first game is them saving their own home, and then the sequels are them ending up in another world and helping them.

Crash Bandicoot 2 maps felt more interesting than 3. Other than that 3's gameplay and special moves and bazooka were superior.
I liked 1 as well. The game length and difficulty were what I wanted from a game. Much better than 2 and 3 in that aspect, but it felt a bit bland and awkward in every aspect. Couldn't really enjoy it that much. The hog rides were fun and funny.
