made a pack with the most downloaded and best rated smw romhacks, normal difficulty

Why this isnt a thing? manually patched 80 romhacks of smw during a week and it took forever,
copyrights laws are a disgrace to the human race

imagine using centralized hosting servers for romhacks that may or may not go down or get censored tomorrow. everyone should have ipfs mirror for all roms and romhacks. or at least retroshare node

it was made during a year of almost no internet for me so they are curated, i deleted the worst.
i will do a script if i learn how to automatically download patches, i dont know if its worth it but it may be.
didnt planned to make it but i hope that i had found something like this (low size) not 30 k or 16 gb of smw, isnt that too much? do you have a torrent of that?

This isn't in the collection, but If you haven't played it yet, try Mario's Keytastrophe Rebirth. It's a gimmick hack built around one-screen mini puzzles, and it's made by SNN so the music is on point. You get unlimited retries, and it's a pretty chill experience, you could probably clear it in less than an hour if you try. Give it a go, /vr/

I sure love wasting my time typing commands to install something and having to figure out how to get shit to work in my particular version of linux any time I want to install something instead of just clicking a button and have it work.

There are a lot of great things about linux but until you can just click a program and have it install or run, linux ain't ready for desktop.

If people would rather make a biased set instead of forking the GoodSets to be ROM-hack-only sets of everything, then whatever. I've been maintaining the GudSet account on archive.org for around 4 years and am tired of this topic. Zandro maintained the NonGood dats then decided to stop once GoodTools was effectively dead when ROMShepherd died and is being fairly secretive about his UnRenamed dats, and those sets are also on archive.org. At least it's something, but if no one's going to be handling the full ROM hack dats, then I don't know what to tell you. I have razor-thin patience with this archive and this repetitive idiocy as it is.

For those who don't get it, Brian is the real name of Zandro.

What exactly is your problem? Someone already made a pre-patched archive; addressing OPs issues. Meanwhile OP is irresponsive due to a presumptive lack of understanding the lingua franca. OP has also been inconsistent in his story aka caught lying so he be trusteth canneth. OP just wanted us to be grateful for the garbage product he delivered. Idc about archiving something that requires me to compile another exe. I'll play smw romhacks until I drop dead.

>> No.9401829

>>9401712
OP's an idiot. I probably shouldn't have made it a direct reply to anyone, but I just want all the pre-patched hack sets merged before I'm dead. I know no one will properly take over my patch archive when I'm gone, even though Earthsouls is trying to make a No-Intro-styled renaming system for the patches and hasn't been very active due to life issues. This is due to hackers being retarded with how they make the patches for their own hacks and wind up providing false hash information alongside each IPS, BPS, Xdelta, etc. patcher producing differently sized patches.
>Idc about archiving something that requires me to compile another exe.
When you download ClrMamePro or something similar, there's an option to scan everything in a folder and shit out a dat/xml file. You can view and edit these in Notepad/Notepad++. The sets typically don't get continued unless someone's renaming files correctly and maintaining the dat files, and I have no space to be doing the pre-patched sets alongside the smaller patches, especially DS.
I'm just hoping someone can get some better coordination with this.
