So I'm planning to play a lot of retro games that have a Halloween atmosphere. I'm using a chinese handheld so I can play horror movies in the background so it's dreamcast and older for consoles and psp and older for handhelds. Can anyone think of something I'm missing? Here is my list Part 1

If you're into fighting games I'd suggest Capcom's Darkstalkers series. It has quirky Capcom takes on most of the famous monster archetypes as playable characters, and the stages are pretty spooky.

The third one, which goes by either Vampire Savior or Darkstalkers 3 depending on which release you're playing. The home ports on Saturn, PS1 and PS2 have expanded rosters, adding back in 3 characters who had to be cut from the original arcade release due to memory limits.

Last year I played Koudelka for Halloween and fell in love with it. It's more horror themed than actually scary so it nails the tone for Halloween. It looks great, atmosphere is perfect, voice acting and mocap are beyond their years. Pretty short for an RPG too so you won't be stuck with it into November.

You can include Mutant League Football(Genesis) if you don't mind sports. There's also The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang, which puts a humorous spin on the vampire trope: you play as the prince of a kingdom of vampires, using magic hats, cards and sleight of hand to defeat garlic enemies and others that have invaded your country. You feed off tomatoes.
There's also Sweet Home (NES), the Contra games, considering you're including Alien games there, and you could try using DOSBox to emulate PC adventure games like Day of the Tentacle, the Gabriel Knight games, Dark Seed, and others.

The movies I will be playing are ones I've seen before. My primary focus will be on the games. While I don't need to do this, I find it increases the atmosphere. It's like listening to classical music while reading.
