I did on my multicart, even used a 8bit doh adapter and a Wii U Pro controller

it's an incentive to go fast, you're not supposed to take it slow in this game, slow like I was doing in the video (but I was just trying to learn the level). In 8-2, and probably other levels too, there cases in which you can find yourself in an unwinnable position if you come into a particular spot too slow.

With that said the game sometimes takes the mechanic a little too far, like some levels entirely based on finding a series of hidden food items in order to survive
