I found that HL2 Xbox usually sits in the teens. I beat the whole game on Xbox, and the busier setpieces later on in the game really tank the framerate. The aim-assist aggressiveness is based on the framerate, and when I was in Nova Prospekt the game was aiming itself rofl

They made a cool workaround for the hair. The hairs aren't individually rendered, and they're not even using a fur shader either, but instead there are three hair textures stacked together, with the lower layers being darker to simulate depth
