I just started Mahjong Soul today (I’m the guy that recommended it earlier) and although I can tell it’s gonna take me a while to get everything down, it actually doesn’t seem quite as daunting to learn riichi mahjong as I thought it would be. This was like kemono friends 30 years before the anime. You get to bully and strip animal eared girls when you win.

The 100th battle is with the fox who becomes a 9 tail fox.

Define this. What classifies nostalgia as “butthurt”?

Are there any good retro games that'll help teach me mahjong? Cute girls are a nice bonus but not a necessity

Gonna ask this here because its kinda related and i dont want to make a new thread to push off something else from the board:

Is there a database or something for videogames but i can filter for games from japan? I'm learning japanese atm. so i want to look for niche untranslated games to try

I already know how to play riichi mahjong pretty well, what mahjong games would you recommend from the classic console/handheld lineups? I'd like to take some single player mahjong on the go on my emulator. Half decent AI would be nice too, if not, then 2D tiddies. They don't need an ENG patch, I can make do with moonrunes.
