These. He's a lumberjack. He puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars.

So… did they build the secret entrance under the tree? Were they just pretending to saw the tree for days/weeks when people came by, but were secretly digging the tunnel?similar to a prisoner digging a whole in prison and hiding their progress with a poster? Was the tunnel already there and they were sawing to uncover it? Did they know it was there? Who are they?

The brothers hide the bodies in the tree trunks. That’s why they are both cutting down trees. When you go back later on to get the heart piece that’s where the bodies are stored. The shallow water keeps them cool.

I only know the one on the right (the one in the OP). That's Brigadier Sir Charles Arthur Strong (Mrs.).
>P.S. Sir Charles has never kissed the editor of the Radio Times.

They specifically remark that the tree seems unusually hollow, so assumedly they were just regular lumberjacks who stumbled upon it by chance.

Kakariko village has a bar, but it's not specified if they serve milk or something else. At least not until ALBW.

But what happened to them? They disappear after you can get into the tree. They're in the credits, but so are the king and Link's dead uncle

>The Japanese word for lumberjack is pronounced "Kikori" (木樵), which is an anagram of the word Kokiri. This, combined with the green apparel of the Lumberjacks, leads some to believe that they were in fact the inspiration for the race in Ocarina of Time.

The Kokiri were also obviously inspired by Peter Pan. But Peter Pan was the reason why Link wears green in LoZ in the first place.

So Link is obviously why the Kokiri are that way.

Also the Kokiri are actual lumberjacks too because they live in hallowed out trees. Which is fucked up because their dad is a tree too. But yeah probably intentional.
