This seems like bait but whatever. You won't need a walkthrough. The only thing I can really think that you might need a guide for is if you want to collect all of the gold Skulltula tokens, but that's entirely optional.

This + a character will give you an egg. You must wait an entire in game day for the egg to hatch into a chicken, which can then be used to wake up a sleeping character blocking the entrance you need to take when sneaking into the castle. Don’t get filter by these things

it's actually more retarded than that because you see malon in town, then go to the castle, then you have to exit and re-enter the map just to get malon to appear by the vines. i wonder how many kids gave up because they only went to the castle once, found sleeping talon and had no idea what to do next. they really should have just removed her from town entirely and put her by the vines from the get go.

did you see malon in town and then go somewhere else before heading to the castle? i havent experimented much but maybe the game just counts map changes after seeing malon the first time rather than how many times you enter rhe castle grounds. i know for a fact though, if you go straight from kokiri to market and then up to the castle, she wont be there, and then if you to back into town she wont be there either because she will then be by the vines.

Navi and Rauru tell you to go there for "a new skill" and the first NPCs you see in town talk about seeing Dampe's ghost in the graveyard. If you check out Dampe's house his diary says he has a "stretching, shrinking treasure" or something along those lines. Hardly very cryptic.

one thing i've noticed about zoomers is they have this weird fixation with being told how to do something. the idea of discovering things through experience, or experimenting to find answers, seems both bewildering and scary for them. any time a zoomer has an issue, they need to know the "way" to do it. they look up a guide, a video, a recipe, etc. they have absolutely no sense of self-direction. this is why you see so many posts like this where 20 year old kids are talking about "the walkthrough" or "the video i watched so i could see how to play". it's like they're inherently afraid to learn things naturally because they don't want to experience failure or something, which ironically stunts their creative abilities, makes them less adaptive and makes them more likely to fail in the future when a situation arises that they don't already know how to handle in a specific way. i blame helicopter parents and modern technology for stamping out tendencies of youthful rebellion, streamlining life and instilling them with a fear complex for disobedience. every generation thinks the generatioj younger than them is doomed, but man, i can't help but think this time it's true. these kids today are legitimately retarded and would be absolutely fucked without parents and google.

I think there's also something to be said for how cripplingly aware we are of societal problems thanks to the Internet and social media. We genuinely just know too much about other peoples' business now and can more easily lose sight of the actual agency that we have in our communities.
You are gonna raise kids of your own, aren't you? I know I want to. That's probably the best way we can deal with societal problems; to raise a generation capable of fixing them. Zelda and Impa just explicitly told you to go to Kakariko though, them impa actually points towards kakariko and says "go there". A good amount of players will ignore navi at this point because they think they're doing what the game wants and don't need Navis guidance
