Remake (Shattered memories) is a completely different game, granted, it's alright, HD remakes should be avoided. It's not the type of "oh the pixel on the left bollock of the dog is lightish brown instead of red-brown and the monsters AI responds to you .5 times slower, it ruins everything", it's actually fucking terrible.
Play the first one on PS1 or the emulator, rest (2-4) on the PC with fan patch.

Halloween is one of the most cringey things about USA, i don't get why they have to watch, play horror exclusively during halloween, what the fuck is this herd mentality, most of them don't even like horror or watch the same shit again and again

You asked the right person, anon. I will reply later tonight with some recommendations after I make sure I'm not forgetting anything. There are a lot of Scooby-Doo video games out there, and most of them are actually good.
This is /vr/, so you know ZAMN already.
Ghost Master (the game in the OP) is also horror-themed but not horror. The gameplay is brilliant and addictive, and it's legitimately pretty funny. It's like The Sims but you scare people with ghosts.
Castleween (also mentioned in the OP) is one of my favorites. PS2 and GBA versions are both worth playing.

It's actually not an American holiday. It came from Ireland. As a person of Irish descent, I love the fact that my people brought the greatest holiday of all to one of the most influential countries on the planet.

I do that all year, nigger. I eat, breathe, and live horror. But starting in August until the end of October, so does everyone else, and it's great. There's actually stuff on TV I might actually want to watch, decorations in stores I might actually want to put in my house, can run around wearing a monster mask and nobody calls the police (unless I do something illegal while I'm wearing the monster mask, in which case at least the police have a hard time identifying me).
