Spotted any good deals on the Steam summer sale, /vr/?

Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption is going for three bucks. Does the Steam version have any bugs?

I do not support the PC game rental scam.

Why would you buy retro games on steam?

During the summer sale a lot of them go for very cheap.

I pirate almost all my games but will upgrade to a powerful PC later this year.
What are some games worth buying now for later in the year?
Something where it makes sense to BUY it and not just pirate

Maybe Postal 2 cause it might get another update/DLC down the line.

>buying
>steam
>buying old games on steam that are never configured to run on modern OS
>buy old games on steam that were already broken from the time they released
>buying 20 year old games where not a single penny goes to the original devs
Everyone get in here, OP is being a faggot again.

And during the non-summer sales, they go for even cheaper. As in, nothing at all.

So I can play them with my normie friends online. Nobody wants to fuck around with Hamachi like the old days to get Starcraft, Unreal Tournament, C&C, Age of Empires or Rise of Nations to work maybe one time out of five, they just want to log on, play the Extended Edition, and forget about it.

Frankly, I'm at the age where I can't be bothered fucking around as tech support for normie friends for an hour, and they have other obligations like jobs and kids. So the $5 for these older games is well worth it to me if it means we can still play regularly.
