I have a question. A long time ago I read a RCT1 gamefaqs guide which mentioned that a rollercoaster designed with two intertwined loops that had two separate trains pass through both loops at the same time would lead to one of the trains losing speed to simulate the effect of an air vortex.
Is this actually true? Are there any videos of this?

>> No.9039174

>>9038602
i don't think so? i've built plenty of coasters with interlocking loops and never noticed such a thing
it could have been from a weird glitch where occasionally the trains can "bump" eachother in the interlocked loop

>> No.9039249

>>9038602
Yeah that's bogus and definitely referring to what >>9039174 says. RCT has lots of simulation accounted for, wind forces are not on the list in any capacity, nor would stopping a train in a loop be simulating anything real. Otherwise they do not slow or affect each other.

>> No.9039423

>>9039174
I've also seen coasters "bump" on a helix that gets too close to another track. That kind of rare bug might be the source of these kinds of old wives tales.

Thanks anons, I've been wondering about that for a while. However I didn't know it was possible that trains on separate tracks could sometimes collide with each other at all so that's cool to know.

I'm gonna tism about this. The main thing you need to secure your computer from is MS themselves, or at least the US government through MS's intentional backdoors and keyloggers. Even if you're not American (they can legally do that to Americans without warrant for some reason), do you actually believe they remove said vulnerabilities in outbound copies, or that the NSA will give you a pinky swear not to collect free foreign intelligence? Every time they add new backdoors for their buds in updates, you become more vulnerable, and not just to them. Stop trusting the untrustworthy.

Use a secure browser, keep script blockers on, use the Win version you have firmest control over (Win 7), stop giving information to emails, and stop letting social media and quizzes know accessible password recovery answers, in case you are a boomer. You will never be hacked performing those simple steps. Phishing and social engineering is the only serious non-government related hacking threat and has been for ages, there's no amount of programming effort that is more effective to a malicious party than simply ensnaring large amounts of user info in a quiz game and selling it, or breaking into a company's boomers minds via bogus password recovery spam.

no.
Every single one of them is either a scenario with no thought put into them (park value while giving you a shitload of money at the start in the form of deletable pathing and scenery), an okay idea ruined by execution (run two combined parks but the second park is so far away that you'll go broke just building a path to connect them) or had zero thought put into the scenario (pic related, no money and no rating requirement means there's no reason to care about a good looking park)
This says nothing about the one park that has two entrances separated by a gigantic valley that you instantly have to spend thousands on just for a path otherwise guests will throw a fit.
