I was about 12 when this game came out for the Sega CD. I did not own a Sega CD at that age, but I did have one a few years later. I played Night Trap in 1995 as a rental. To be honest, I didn't enjoy the game much at all. Didn't understand why it was deemed to be violent/ sexual. The game was cheesy looking. One thing that stuck out to me, was how 'dated' the characters looked. Like, they were very 'Saved by the Bell' ish in the way they dressed. But then it turns out that the game was filmed in 1987, and everything makes a lot more sense. Look at that shoulder padded suit, and poofy 80's era Madonna-like hair, and the soft pastel blues and pinks.

It's a documentary made by Digital Pictures themselves, back in 1995. It is about the 1993 senate hearings. If you don;t care about that, it has lots of behind the scenes footage.

The currents 25th anniversary Night Trap release, was made up of higher quality VHS footage, but they still had to cull some of it from the 32xCD version. I think someone like Tom Zito said that the master footage may be lost.

Night Trap = 1992
Double Switch = 1993

Night Trap was footage from 1987 that didn't get released until 1992. After the success of that game and Sewer Shark, Digital Pictures put Double Switch in production in 1992 or 1993, and you can see discrepancies between 1987 and 1992 or 1993, in the way that people are dressed/ act in Double Switch compared to Night Trap.
