What the fuck are you supposed to hold in this situation?

>> No.894878

In most games, in that situation, you can just keep holding the button you were holding before. Letting go and immediately after that, holding left also works in some situations.

Are you new to gaming or something?

As a matter of fact I am. My friend from reddit recommended this site to me saying it was good, but all I'm getting are trolls in this thread.

This really bugged the fuck out of me in Metroid 2, with the spider ball. You hold a direction to move in that direction, and it'll automatically turn corners and stuff. But if you ever release the D-pad, it'll forget what direction you were moving in, and you have to press the correct direction.

It's a little hard to explain, but if you've ever played Metroid 2, you'll know what I mean.

Welcome to 4chan.

I should've said this before, but this topic doesn't even belong on /vr/ in the first place. You should just leave 4chan, period.

This will be my last post in this thread.

I think most games choose that option. Like, for instance, in Devil May Cry, if you're holding down to walk toward the camera, but the camera shifts to a different angle, you're then moving away from it, while still holding down.

Hold forward until the momentum stops.
