My gf is indifferent towards video games (besides dead island) but recently fell in love with co-op games after finding my old copy of Crash Bash. Is there anything else you guys would recommend to keep her interest? She doesn't really care for split screen as she prefers same screen but it isn't a deal breaker.

Diablo 1 on PS1
Any beat 'em up
Gauntlet series
Smash TV

>> No.8890821

MK Shaolin Monks, Zombies Ate my Neighbors, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory from the top of my head. Sports games usually allow you to play on the same team, and there's plenty of arcadey ones that don't require you to like the sport. I think NBA Jam has a co op mode.

Sadly she considers any game like Diablo or an rpg to be be "too lord of the ring-y"
She does like beat 'em ups but they don't seem too hold her for very long. Will try smash though

Has no tolerance for aiming but the rest I'll definitely run by her. I'm trying not to lean into my autism too much and scare her off of her new interest in retro vidya so sports might help

My little sister who never played games otherwise loved the Magical Quest games and Goof Troop for the Super Nintendo when we were kids. Simple gameplay and low difficulty that you can play throughG8 in an afternoon.

She's the one who brought it up, I'm just trying to nurture her interest. I really hope it works

Sweet, added to the list. Thanks mang.

If she likes the look, I'll report back

She's a normal biological female. I only attract women cause I "don't look like one of those anime people or gamer type."

>besides dead island
Why Dead Island of all things? It sounds so weird. People who don't care about vidya, especially girls, usually enjoy something like Minecraft, Sims or Animal Crossing. Dead Island is such a strange choice

>> No.8891178

Sonic 2
Sonic 3&K
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Gunstar Heroes
Kirby Super Star
Metal Slug
World of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck

>> No.8891198

Any Kirby game.
Any NES 2 player game, Dr. Mario or Tetris are breddy fun for two players.

Probably liked some zombie show and fell into it.

That's a good question. I bought her the zombie parkour one they made a while back but she fucking hated it. She hates the rest of those but I think she plays Minecraft with her little brother on her phone if he asks.
>>8891198
Thanks for the recs. And she watched Z Nation and liked it while being indifferent to the walking dead. Having watched neither myself, I'm not sure what each has over the other

She sees Disney as something only children should enjoy so those are out, thinks sonic is furry porn (and refuses to look at it), and [blank] 'em ups are fun but doesn't stick with them for more than a session. I'll give kirby and gunstar a looksee.
