I can't find an arcade ROM of this game, or a way to emulate it. Are model 2 games not emulatable? This was a fairly popular game but it seems like it's been completely forgotten about. Can anyone help?

For the arcade version use Model 2 emulator. http://nebula.emulatronia.com/
You can find the rom easy enough in Mame sets it should be named fvipers.zip

Alternatively play the Xbox360 or PS3 port. The Xbox360 port is also backwards compatible on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. You could also try emulating them with Xenia and RPCS3 but I have no idea if they work.

There's also the PS2 version. It can be emulated with PCSX2 but will be black and white unless you use software rendering so a fast CPU is required.

Well, that's what OP's problem was. Some other posters helped him solve that, but "just emulate" is the most retarded response he got.
I only came into the thread to figure out what the game was from that awful thumbnail, but I couldn't just close the tab on that level of stupid without mocking him via image macro. It's tradition.

I always liked this game, it was my first 3d fighting game, in 1997 one of my neighboor had a saturn with this game, we played this on daily basis, until the other neighboor bought a psx with tekken 2 (this one moved to the USA in early 2000s he lives in Mesa, Arizona). Greetings from Europe.
