I like my bad games so bad they're incompressible, even with the manual. Ones that you boot up and you have zero idea what your goal is or how to progress. If the inputs seem to just stop working at times, even better.

I quite like games where someone had a neat idea but was clearly lacking in either skills or resources to make it actually good
The worst kind of garbage is rebadged garbage. Like taking the exact same racing game and slapping a new coat of paint on it a half dozen times while marketing each entry as its completely own thing.

Baffling kusoge, absolutely. There’s a lot more charm in a game that’s so incomprehensibly bad compared to something that’s just really shitty. I’d rather play Super Monkey Daibouken because of how utterly terrible it is than slog through a game that works but is just boringly bad like Super Pitfall for example
