Will they release a smaller version exclusively for PS2/480i output?

I already have an OSSC so I don't need another 240p device, but the Retrotink's deinterlacing seems too good to pass up.

What if the cable end of that is detachable? It could just be the unit and the cable portion would be a less expensive manner to add other profiles/systems.
