They made a spiritual successor for PS2, called Kengo. There's like, 4 of those games, from the looks of it. Not retro, but worth noting.

Because Square owns the rights to it so the company that developed it went on to make their own spiritual successor to it. They were terrible. I honestly think either Square had people on hands to make sure Bushido Blade turned out good or the guys were just insanely lucky and shat out gold.
