Super Castlevania IV. INB4 posers screech that it's too easy, as if Rondo or Bloodlines are harder. SCIV simply has way more effort put into it and it shows.

There isn’t a single bad game here. Best comes down to preference. Castlevania IV was probably the most impressive and impactful of all of these.
I think a case can be made that Dracula X is the worst of these since Rondo of Blood exists but it’s still a great game.

I don’t dislike IV, it’s just not that great. Unfitting music, muddy graphics, not challenging until the last few levels, stupid stairway bullshit at the end. It’s a good game despite all that, but the others are great games with far less flaws.

I just noticed Konami color coded its logo animation for each console. The bar that scrolls the screen creating the logo is pink on SNES, green on Genesis, and blue on TG-16. That is soulful.
