So, which roms does Nintendo expect us to pay for next?

Definitely not this one, because then they won't be able to push the gimped NES Donkey Kong as a separate purchase due to how DK64 has the full arcade original.

To be fair, you will have to endure Nintendo's shitty N64 emulator before you get anywhere near the superior arcade version of OG Donkey Kong.

It’s not so much the paid roms that piss me off. It’s the fact that people will lose everything they’ve been paying for for years when Nintendo phases out the Switch for some future console.

No thanks pal, I’ll wait for the N64 mini

I don't think they're doing Minis anymore anon.

Shuntaro Furukawa said the switch was "in the middle of its life cycle" back in February 2021. The Switch launched in March 3rd, 2017. 2021 - 2017 = 4. 2021 + 4 is 2025. The Switch has 3 years remaining. Hopefully Nintendo fixes their broken-ass N64 emulator, and speed up the rom re-releases (as opposed to sitting on an entire library of games, letting out only a couple games every blue moon). But then again, capitalism.

If anything, Nintendo is too busy working on their next console, the Switch U.

Aren't there signs pointing to Goldeneye?

Gotta love paying for digital shit on consoles with temporary store lifetimes that die shortly after the new console is released.
Better off just playing a ROM hack at that point.
