not sure about actual "rarest". i guess conker and the neo geo pocket games?

Who cares if it is or isn't? The point is the label is functional and does a job that the bare cartridge itself doesn't do. Also OP has his label on the boxes, not the carts, so the carts aren't even ruined by them.

That's fine if you only have a few. I think I have ~40 lined up on a shelf. That means every time I want to get a game, I need to slide them out one-by-one trying to find that single game I'm looking for. It's a pain in the ass. I agree that the DIY end labels look hideous though.
I just end up using an everdrive instead, even for the games I own.

A lot of my PC games are in storage. I'd say between big box, small box & jewel case, I've got ~1,000 titles. I won't count duplicates.

Of financially valuable, let me check eBay for a moment: OK, eBay has gone crazy with high-end prices so I'll ignore them.

Of rare stuff, I have some European stuff. I've got the "T-rating" Oblivion box (later changed to "M-rating" because, you know.. .boobies). I've got a complete Daggerfall big box. I've got an obscure game called "Grendel." Some big box expansion packs to fairly obscure games. I've got a fair number of "multi-media" CDs back when "Hey! I'm popular because of [fill in profession here]! I'll have my own multi-media CD!" (ex. Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge, etc.). I've got some music CDs that also have data tracks on them that were meant to be played on a computer.
