I played through the MGS demo and the RE2 demo that came with RE Directors Cut so many times.

Demos were great; this one had Grandia. There was a Playstation Underground one that had a Shadow Tower demo also. I probably would have skipped over both without the demos.

I still own most of Underground and OPM demo discs for PS1 and PS2, along with a few randoms like those Pizza Hut discs. I like to replay them to this day. The games being incomplete is charming, and it even helps me rediscover games sometimes. Playing modern day demos where you can literally save your game and shit just isn't the same at all.
