PC gamer here, I had no plans on getting a console in that generation until that came out (though I did have a GBA). And then it got cancelled. Ended up getting a ps2 eventually, and all kinds of great games I missed out on.
Since then the only consoles i've bought are the DS,3DS, and Switch.

I always wanted to play this, the thought of training a creature to learn words and phrases always intrigued me. Stuff like this, Seaman, Lifeline, Endwar, anything where there was a heavy involvement with speech to play the game was cool. Are there any modern games that feature generous use of voice? The technology has advanced drastically so I could see many interesting ways you could use it in gameplay
