Really neat game, but drags hard early on. You really need to grind for love to do anything without fear that you won’t make it to bed, which defeats the relaxing atmosphere and the urge to just walk around town and talk to people. Luckily saving monster souls gives you 2+ love, so once you can save the slime and go south, it’ll pile on.

When you get a full day, then the game really opens up and you can bask in everything.

It's not worth it. I only did it because I was feeling "passionate" about exploring every inch of it. Progression in basically hidden behind obtuse mini-games, and any character interaction and commentary gets diluted in the mindless monster catching.
And then you realize the actual ending was cut in favor of some shitty evangelion style meta commentary. Super cringey design. It's like the whole moon thing; the devs were normies ready to suck up to whatever was the "in" thing of the era.
