Sega was the definition of nearsighted, but the next generation hadn't even started yet when it came out desu. Dreamcast doesn't even feel like a 6th gen console to me, more like a very powerful, late to the party 5th gen. That's not to say Sega isn't totally to blame for its failure, they undoubtedly are, but comparing it to the other 3 almost seems silly when it was dead by the time they were just getting started.
